The Supervisory Board of NASDAQ OMX Armenia is appointed by the general meeting of the company’s shareholders and comprises four members and the Chairman. The Supervisory Board approves general strategies and policies of the company, including the stock exchange rules, except the issues that, according to the legislation in force, fall under the exclusive authority of the general meeting of shareholders.

Prior roles include Nasdaq Vice President South East Asia and Nasdaq Head of Market Development Asia Pacific.

Emma holds a BA and post-graduate qualifications in Applied Finance and Investment (Treasury), is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (F Fin), a Member and International Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and a Member of the Professional Risk Managers’ International Association. Emma has lived and worked in Sydney, Perth, Tokyo, Singapore, Stockholm, Geneva and spent considerable time in the Middle East.

Mr. Edgar was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of "HSBC Bank Armenia" cjsc from 1 July 2016. Mr Edgar has held various managerial positions in HSBC Group member companies and has a wealth of international banking experience.

He was the segment head of Commercial Banking in Australia and Hong Kong and Regional Head of Transaction Banking in the Middle East. Further assignments included roles in Japan, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and London.

Mr. Edgar graduated from Edinburgh, Napier and Manchester universities located in the United Kingdom. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.
